TAIWAN

taiwan, i didnt really enjoy the trip as much as i thought i would. i shall start witht he bad stuff.
- the clothes were VERY UGLY. i'm so sorry for those people who love taiwan but the clothes are just loose or tight or out of shape and all have either too many ruffles, disgusting shiny stuff on them or act cute and weird bad english quotes or phrases. and quite sluttly. the vests were all out of shape. and the peoples dress sense was like, ew. not saying mine is great but there is a border line between nice and matching and ugly and totally gross. like they could wear oversized overalls over a complicated top, tights and penny loafers. srsly.
idk what the school girls are doing. messy hair with gross clips, penny loafers or fake converse sneakers on their feet, sunglasses?? and the skirts are wayy to big. what i didnt like was that the night markets are all like filled with things from mini toons or slutty bikini's. no offence. srsly,its just one whole line of mini toons all lined up. we walked and walked some shops DID have nice clothes but i guess they were just not my taste. kay lah, not everything was disgusting. but i hav ent gone to that part yet.
people said the food is nice in taiwan. not bad, but they cant make nice chilli ): although the last meal we ate had the best chilli ever.
the first meal we had was the worst, being unfamiliar with the place, we just picked one random stall and i couldnt figure out what i was eating, even if it tasted good.

best parts bout taiwan:
beef noodle is GOOD. like really good. and the people too (despite their clothing) like they have a great attitude and all. srsly very polite. esp shopkeepers. and they harldy shout. even the taxi drivers are really funny. like they just crack jokes and all. and the people dont push, they dont spit they dont stare they dont ignore and they dont mock you or anything. and their customer service isnt bad. even the people at the mrt managed to tolerate mom and her ridiculous questions with the most obvious answers :O
the mrt there is cute. they scan the tokens. not only the cards. haha quite fun. i dindt managed to find much stuff and i only bought the t shirt out of desperation. however i am quite glad with the demin jacket i found on the last night (: must have a more avriety of jackets. haha.

the night markets were just like those in china. except less shouting, though it had lesser interesting things i dindt really mind. anyway walking along two sides of shops could did help me to excercise my neck, of course i hope daddy wasnt too annoyed with my ponytail swishing here and there all the time (i'm nearly as tall as him now ;) )
we took singapore airlines there! :D i managed to watch slumdog millionaire and he's not that into you and the curious case of bejamin button (: i feel accomplished.

we had breakfast at this place every morning since we had coupons and i always had a special plate everyday ;) cayuse of what i ordered. haha. didnt like the coffee as much as mom did though.

anyway i think on weds i was feeling the most restless :/ cause we had to go sight seeing and its not as fantastic as china but quite interesting. we sort of went to what seemed like random places. and one even alllowed us free entry if we could produce any reciept from any shop in taiwan. unfortunatelty dad just threw away all before we went there, haha.

we went to one beach place in taiwan. it had all the rocks that got their weird shapes from erosion. the place was huge and that was the only thing worth seeing,. haha

one time mom made me real pissed at one of the shopping places and i just turned arnd and started walking away. like i just kept going through the alley ways and stuff. but the damn place was so small i just sat down at one of the sight seeing corners and waited for mom to walk over. which she did. very slowly.

haha someone told me tiedan was rare huh. lol. dan shui has like a million of them. half the shops sell 5 diff brands of tiedan. lol, so many to choose from. in the end mom bought like 8 packets, ALOT of it. i'm not really a fan of tie dan cause its like, so hard on he outside. but it does have a weird taste in a nice way.

all in all if you asked me to go to taiwan again i would say no. so sorry for all those lovers of taiwan. but the people there are really good and the food is nsuper unique (:

oh the hotel was smart. cause it wasnt them grand sort and they sort of combined with the cafe next to it. and so the check in counter has very little space. like really little. but the upstairs is the size of two shops put tgt. like the tore down the wall inbetween,. haha.

mom was on a pillow frenzy the last night, she was obsessed with the pillows the counter "ke yi ba yi ge mai gei wo ma" like woah. the lady was just stunned man. haha

the ride back wasnt so great, our plane was delayed for 4 hours. but that allowed me to buy a new book (: haha they lik gave us 4 $250 coupons to buy diner and a box of pineapple tarts each for compensation. lol.
mmm they had haigan daaz ice cream served on the plane ;)
mom felt a but nauseaous on the plane and i got a bit worried. ): better ask her to rest.

OHMYGAWD. when we were collecting our luggages at belt 36 (i remember ;) ) i saw MR AND MRS PHEE. like colin phee and angela jacob. i was quite grossed out. haha, mom was busy buying wine and dint see. lol. luckily for me, they didnt stop to chat (: phew.

we reached home arnd 4 am and i still had to attend learning lab in the morning like ;/ ah wells. i better finish this and complete my little india piece. surprisingly i can steal stuff from tll notes ;) i'm gonna show theresa chan i can produce something other than shit.

during the whole trip i was thinking so much (thats how i can blog properly) that i could nearly hear lovin ma'am saying 'you think too much" all over again. sighh.

there you go aishyn! a realllllly long posts for you. and i apologise again to those taiwan lovers. i just realised i didnt drink water for the whole of today. only things like tea and juice. oh gosh.
